Hi! My name is Rafael Pimentel and I am a certified IT professional with a passion for all things technology. I live and work in the Greater Orlando area. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in the IT and networking industry my career has been built on the foundation of strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and positive attitude. Whether it’s configuring routers, switches, access points, or providing first-level troubleshooting for SD-WAN technologies, I take pride in delivering efficient and reliable solutions.

During my high school years I studied at a magnet high school for information technology where I discovered my passion for IT with a very strong interest in networking. I started working professionally since 2014; starting in a technical support role for a telecommunications company. A year later made the transition over to the health industry where I developed the bulk of my experience at an enterprise level. Working as a Service Desk analyst I supported the clinical and non-clincal staff members. Later I moved to the field level working directly with the end users as an IT Support Specialist. My last stint in the health industry was where I dove into my true passion as a Network Analyst.

I hold a CCNA, CMNA from Cisco Meraki, JNCIA-Junos and JNCIA-MistAI from Juniper. Currently I am expanding my skills in Python scripting, Linux, and cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure. My end goal is to eventually merge all of these skills and experiences as I aim to delve into cloud networking. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in this rapidly evolving world.
