The Wireshark Foundation has officially dropped a new certification, the Wireshark Certified Analyst (WCA-101). The WCA-101 cert caters to professionals in the field that already use Wireshark. It is a challenging exam used to evaluate a candidate’s proficiency in network protocol analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
The exam details:
- Number of questions: 50 – 60
- Exam time: 120 minutes
- Cost: $349
There isn’t any official learning materials at the time of this writing available, however, there are various external resources that can be utilized to complement your training. Check out the Wireshark site for more details on the exam which includes the exam objects that can be downloaded.
